Hall and room hire

Each of our Churches has large halls and smaller rooms for hire, whether for celebrations, regular events, exhibitions, or office space. We have a full range of spaces with differing facilities.

St James' Church Hall

Our beautifully renovated hall is a bright and welcoming space with striking architecture and stained glass. Available for regular hire or one-off events whether you want to run a toddler’s group, community lunch, teach a dance class, organise a conference or have a celebration, then this may be the right venue for you.

  • Flexible worship space and/or access to the main worship space by arrangement

  • Parking (Disabled bays and loading at the front. Parking for large numbers is available just on the opposite side of the road in the Lidl car park)

  • Local heritage exhibition and information

 

St Margaret's offices, meeting rooms, and conference facilities
 

St Margaret’s Scotswood has fantastic renovated office spaces and rooms for hire. We already are the home of Scotswood Village Nursery and a branch of the charity Changing Lives.

Some rooms have their own kitchen and bathroom facilities or are shared with other offices. We are available for regular hire or one-off events whether you want to run children’s group, community lunch, teach a dance class, organise a conference or church quiet day then this may be the right venue for you.
